In the area of the fire its USFS, I heard the IC change earlier from Cal Fire to "Div 5" sounded like a federal overhead

Most is FRA, with pockets of SRA, depending on the fire location, it is most likely FRA. The big issue is structure protection in the mountain center area

Scanner feed just went down, not sure if the user is reprogramming his scanner or what.

    Default CA-RRU-Mountain??

I see that in the IA that a team has been ordered, my question to this is in the last few years team have been called in sooner when fire are still within the first burn/operational period why is this. Years ago teams weren't call till the fire was going into the second operational period.

Any land that is federal is USFS. Any private land is SRA. There is plenty of both in the area. The DPA swap no longer exists in that regard, so both agencies have plenty of responsibility. From the view of the header, they both have their hands full.

Probably to get the ball rolling so they can be in place by the 2nd operational period
